Born on March 29 1947.

Advocate Roberto Bartolozzi graduated in law from the University of Pisa in 1975 and that same year he took on practice at a maritime law firm in Genoa.

Advocate at the Supreme Court of Cassation, he contributed in the formulation of the Italian insurance policy conditions for pleasure craft which determined the interpretation criteria in the case law for standard terms.

Since the eighties he has been the legal advisor of the Arbitration Centre for Grain and Seed Trade and has contributed to the formation of case law, establishing the nature of arbitration and the interpretation criteria thereof prior to its establishment by Law.

He is currently President of this Association

He is also a nautical journalist and has been member of the Journalists’ Register since 1971.
